“Your Place” is a series of ads for Ziyaz, a home and office furniture company. The campaign was developed by the ad agency Mood. The advertisements feature photos of famous women in history who accomplished great things, such as Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, and Margaret Thatcher. The campaign was created for International Women’s Day, and “…pays tribute to those who decided that their place would be defined by no one but themselves” (Ads of the World, 2026). This ad campaign aligns with Ziyaz’s mission because the company creates workspaces, offices, and home furnishings that reflect who its customers are as organizations and people. The appeal used to evoke an emotional response is inspiration.
The objectives of the ad campaign were to celebrate International Women’s Day and to increase brand awareness and penetration with Ziyaz’s customer base. The ads provide a unique perspective on Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, and Margaret Thatcher, in a “behind-the-scenes” view of the defining actions that made them household names. The target market for the ad campaign is professional women ages 25 to 45.
The action the ad wants the audience to take is to feel empowered and to do something groundbreaking, bold, or aspirational. If the action is taken, the audience member will benefit by doing something that may be outside their comfort zone and will feel inspired as a result.
The value proposition of the aspirational feeling in the advertisements is that if a member of the target market takes a step toward a goal or dream, their life will be richer for it.
